Gestalt Blue Skies

When we are presented with a partial view of an image, we 'complete the picture' even when we don't know what the whole image actually is.  We invent the rest.  We give it meaning.  This doesn't just apply to images but to all human perception.  That's Gestalt theory.  In these images, I present a partial view of objects and leave it to the viewer to complete the picture. Ironically, although in these images we may invent the rest of the object, the whole of reality – our universe – lies in the blue skies.
