During Lockdown in Britain I focused on my immediate surroundings to produce the Lockdown series. As the possibility of movement increased I went back to photographing new scenes, but I also went back to images I had taken in the last few years. These are now a mix of 'reality' and 'abstract' in an 'abstract expressionism' style. I've restricted the colour palette to within the RMVBC (red, magenta, violet, blue and cyan) range, with the odd lime-green or yellow thrown in as complementary colours. These are scenes where I am no longer there.
